Under Obama, We had One of the Lowest Tax Rates in the World, Under Trump, We Pay Next to Nothing
During the election, Trump said that “our taxes are so high, just about the highest in the world.” This statement infuriated his disciples. As soon as millions of Trumpkins heard that, they started throwing their empty moonshine bottles against the wall and stamping their feet.
Let’s assume a few of these Trumpkins have some doubt, that America has the lowest tax rate in the world. So they check Breitbart. And this website pops up….
This statement is a blatant lie. However, once republicans admit our tax rate doesn’t need to get lower, they party has no reason to exist — it self implodes.
In Trump’s defense, the reason that he ran was to lower taxes for himself and his family and his buddy investors. You think Trump really gives a shit about immigration or education or kicking out Hispanics from our country. Of course not. All he cares about is his wallet, and preventing his money from going to your kid’s school or your mother’s hospital.

In terms of the amount we pay in taxes, America was near the bottom of the list during Obama ‘s presidency— well below the average.
The more taxes that go to our government, the stronger and better our country is. The highest taxes in the world are in Denmark. Ironically, they also are number one in another important list.

Here is one of the most massive tax breaks in our history. Republicans passed it the first chance they had. Remember how long Obamacare took? Isn’t that interesting. They fight giving healthcare to your sick kid, tooth and nail. In fact, republican’s fight against Obamacare was actually one of the biggest fights republicans ever waged. But when it comes to taking money out of our public schools and giving it to themselves and their wealthy donors…they don’t even think twice before stamping their approval on the bill.
The largest single impact will come from eliminating the deduction for state and local income taxes, as proposed in both the House and Senate versions of the tax overhaul. Both versions also put a $10,000 cap on the deduction for state and local property taxes. These two forms of taxation supply the bulk of the funds for public education….

How evil can a republican be? Greed is their only motivation. In the blink of an eye, they destroyed our nation’s education system, so that they could hoard more money. Education is the single most important thing for any strong economy. What happens in 20 years, when these kids graduate high school? Considering most of them would have probably dropped out by then, our graduating class will be at a terrible disadvantage compared to other countries.
Education is just one of many disastrous outcomes from paying as little taxes as we do. Think of all the welfare and benefit systems that are greatly reduced. What happens when unprivileged people are starving? More crimes will occur, of course. But then our prisons will be jam packed already, with the tiny budget they are allocated.
At least all of these wealthy republicans will be sitting on a beach somewhere.
