Biden Wants to End the War in Afghanistan
Trump must be livid
Remember when Trump would talk about ending the wars in the Middle East during his rallies? It was a great applause line. But, of course, no wars were ever ended because Trump’s decisions always depended on the last person he talked to. So when he would discuss ending the wars with his military advisors, they would always talk him out of it.
Biden, on the other hand, is not so manipulable. He has given it a lot of thought. Unlike Trump who has no thoughts beyond a stolen election and who voted to impeach or convict him.
No amount of military suasion is going to change Biden’s mind. Except maybe if the Taliban suddenly developed nuclear capabilities. Then Biden might reconsider his decision.
Trump must be livid about this decision because he wants credit for ending the Afghan war. Like he wanted credit for development of the COVID-19 vaccines. He hated it when Biden got credit for actually getting the vaccines into people’s arms.
