Before laying out my case below, let me put the end at the beginning and summarize what is going on.

Faced with the eventual calamitous destruction of their fossil fuel wealth, the top 10% capitalist class, who owns 89% of the stocks in this country, has finally settled on a way to monetize all of the remaining natural resources in the world, including clean water, farmlands, fisheries, and forests.

To do that, they will “acquire” the “rights” to these resources, (granted to them by the governments they control through corrupt politicians), list them on the New York Stock Exchange, collect your pension money and whatever savings you want to plow into this scheme, and sell these shares once they have increased, to buy a bigger yacht or a mansion. Then they will charge a “management fee” for the trouble they have to go to rent those resources back to you and use the proceeds to acquire more resources, because growth at any cost in any venture is a must. Oh, and they will call it “green” and “preserving” and “sustainable” and such crap.

No, it is not hyperbole nor is it in the future. It is happening now.
