Donald Trump is a Malicious Serial Abuser — and Should Be in Prison

He abuses women, our laws, our courts, the media, his followers, and our democracy

This supremely idiotic sociopolitical drama has gone on for far too long. Is the U.S. now living in a ridiculous, real-life version of “MAD Magazine”? Or perhaps it’s a twisted, fascistic “Twilight Zone” episode come to life… and taking over our nation.

Whatever we want to call the absurd, dangerous travesty that our society has now become, one thing is certain (though many Americans will still deny it): Most of our current utterly wacked social and political situation really can be traced back to the disastrous influence of ONE very screwed-up, malicious man: Donald J. Trump.

Nobody in the U.S. wants to believe it, but our actual, factual national trajectory over the past 7 years shows conclusively that our social, legal, media, and political systems simply can’t cope with a totally amoral, vengeful pathological liar like Trump. In essence, he’s a ruthless mob boss, a loudmouthed spoiled brat, the world’s worst ever sore loser — and a vicious serial abuser as well.

Why do I call him a “serial abuser”? Well, though Trump is certainly not a “genius”, as he claims, he definitely IS a very cunning and super-manipulative user, abuser, and con man. His entire way of life is based on using and abusing others and all the varied social systems that support us — and he’s very good at it.

Somehow, he always knows exactly how best to game the system, hook his followers, skirt and evade our laws, spin the truth to get his way and/or incite his followers, or slander and attack minorities to gin up white rage. And his ability to use the courts to gum up and effectively disable our legal system is astounding.

Think about it: Throughout his life, Trump has successfully avoided any major legal or financial accountability, even as he ripped off contractors in his employ, abused women, lost many millions of dollars, cheated on his taxes, perpetrated numerous bankruptcies, and used the courts to delay and delay any rulings (via endless appeals) until his accusers or other plaintiffs just gave up in disgust.

And that was all when he was just a private citizen, before he became president! Scarily, running for and then becoming our president vastly upped the ante, and suddenly his chosen “victims” were not just his contractors, or individual women, or his creditors, but our entire nation and all its citizens!

Suddenly the whole country was “his oyster” — and he began a 6-year rampage that would tear our nation apart as nothing has ever done before… except for the actual Civil War. (And of course, many of his most rabid followers are now loudly calling for a second Civil War, so they can illegally reinstate him as president.)

Trump and his most extreme followers are just amoral bullies who are willing to do and say anything to get their way — and they don’t care who they hurt or which laws they trample as long as they WIN.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that, once Trump became president, he literally viewed the U.S. as his own nation: his new plaything, his new dominion, which was now subject to his whims and desires.

Some psychologists and mental health professionals have warned that Trump is a “malignant narcissist”, which is one of the most dangerous and manipulative personality types. To a malignant narcissist, everything and everybody exists only to serve or empower him, and he has no use for niceties like morality or compassion or fairness — or the law.

No, for someone like Trump, morality doesn’t exist or is totally irrelevant, and in a sense, other people don’t exist either. Others “exist” only insofar as they can help or support Trump — and anyone who gets in his way or challenges him (like Liz Cheney) gets dehumanized and reaps his wrathful vengeance.

This amoral attitude and Trump’s severe personality disorder were always problematic, throughout his life, and created numerous difficulties for people who crossed paths with him — but his amoral, narcissistic personality didn’t become a truly catastrophic problem until he became president.

A president is supposed to care about his/her country, support the law, and work to improve the lives of our citizens. But Trump doesn’t care about any of these things — at all. He is that very rare example (thankfully) of a totally amoral, utterly self-centered human being, who has no moral compass at all, and also no compassion or caring. None.

So when Trump became president, he did so thinking that the whole process was all about him and attaining unlimited power — and he set about trying to do just that, breaking and transgressing one presidential norm after another, and often skirting or even breaking the law as well (i.e. obstructing justice). And all along, he has had NO interest whatsoever in practical help for Americans, in social justice, or expanding the “American Dream” to be more inclusive.

No, his goals all revolve around self-aggrandizement, and he always uses his formidable demagogic skills to “divide and conquer”. Instead of working to unify and strengthen our nation, he spews hate, insults immigrants, foments white rage, incites intense divisiveness, and keeps trying to shove the nation back into a “great” earlier time when whites dominated everything.

So when President Biden gave his controversial speech in defense of democracy last week (on 9/1), and called out Trump and his extremist MAGA followers by name, he was exactly right to do so. Trump and his most extreme followers are basically just amoral bullies who are willing to do and say anything to get their way — and they don’t care who they hurt or which laws they trample as long as they WIN.

These uncaring, dangerous, and unpatriotic people — meaning Trump and his most extreme followers — cannot be allowed to run roughshod over our society, our laws, and our democracy. They have enjoyed far too much leeway all along — with truly disastrous, ruinous consequences.

If we want our nation to survive, their seditious actions must be stopped and they all must be held to account — NOW.

Everyone in America is subject to the rule of law, and is fully accountable for dangerous transgressions of our “free speech” rules (yes, there are rules and laws governing public speech — and incitement and encouraging lawless or seditious action are not allowed!).

And by everyone, I mean everyone, including the president or a devious, demagogic ex-president like Trump.

Trump is far too dangerous to be allowed to walk around a free man. He has no remorse, no shame, no patriotism, no morality, and no basic humanity. He has proven, again and again and again, that he is both amoral and relentless, and will never voluntarily stop his treasonous, antisocial, un-American behavior.

He needs to be indicted, tried, convicted, and sent to prison for the rest of his life. That’s the only way America can defend itself and survive the crazed, seditious human onslaught of Donald J. Trump.
