Donald Trump Just Came a Step Closer to a New York State Prison
Prosecutors have told Trump, “Hey Donald, we have your ledger!”
While the media was tracking Dog the Bounty Hunter’s every movement, and the rest of us were focusing on Texas, not to mention Karens who publish tell-all books on Donald Trump, New York State prosecutors last Friday quietly dropped the hammer on Donald Trump as they issued a pile of new subpoenas:
New York City prosecutors investigating Donald Trump said they’ve amassed millions of records from his accounting firm and from a range of banks and real estate companies that did business with the Trump Organization.
You may not be familiar with New York State’s case against Trump, and even if you are, there’s a good chance you‘ve got it wrong.
That’s because the current media script suggests that New York is going after Trump’s company over a few minor issues over company benefits. Republicans have done a pretty good job of spreading the false narrative that the case against Trump is a nothing burger.
