Is Biden Running The Government?
A recent poll reveals that a majority of Americans believe that VP Harris is actually in charge
I have a close friend who is a staunch Trump supporter. We have managed to remain friends but it has been difficult, especially when she starts railing about VP Harris being the one who is actually running the country, not Biden.
I’ve been chalking it up to some conspiracy theory she picked up from Fox or OANN, but a recent poll, taken June 23–25, 2021, by Trafalgar Group revealed some disturbing, at least to me, results. It sampled 1,086 general election voters and has a margin of error of 2.97%.
Who is this Trafalgar Group? It’s headed up by Robert Cahaly who is most famous for being the only pollster who correctly called the 2016 election for Trump. If you recall, everyone was certain that Hillary would be the winner.
So when Cahaly speaks, people sit up and pay attention.
His poll asked respondents if they thought that Biden was “fully executing the duties of his office.” An astounding (to me) 56.5% said no, that “others are directing policy and agenda.”
Only 36.4% of respondents believed that Biden was “directing all policy and agenda” for his administration.
