First mind, then body, then soul.
For 8 minutes and 48 seconds
The scaring lynch was applied
As white-knee in uniform-blue
Pressed against bare-black neck.
No doubt they’ll erect a marker
Where this failed resistance
Met its melancholy demise,
As scorched earth is marked
In times when Strong-Men
Prevail by popular demand.
