But it’s all a political game

The closer we get to the midterms, the more confident the Republicans have grown that they will win. And they are announcing more of their agenda.

Personally, I don’t think that’s a terribly smart thing to do cuz if voters are paying attention and become aware of issues that they don’t like, they might surprise everyone (or at least Republicans) and vote for the Democrats instead.

But one really can’t expect a party that slavishly follows Trump to be very smart, so Republicans persist in telling us all about the brave new world that we will be living in when they wrest control from Brandon and the Democrats.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was first out of the gate when he announced waaaaay back in February, the seven investigations he will pursue when the Republicans win the midterms, and he is elected Speaker of the House.

After the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago in August, McCarthy started making veiled threats about impeaching Merrick Garland when the Republicans regain control of the House. I wonder if that is before or after he impeaches Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, and your little dog too.
