Justice seems distorted in these chaotic times
Recent adjudications, miscarriages of justice,
Current polarizations cause justice to take sides
Right and wrong appear determined by politics
Where have true ethics and wisdom gone?

True justice determinations, according to facts
Without the prejudices of political opinions,
Focused on what is best for the public good
Regardless of what opinions may be held,
Facts and public interest should be paramount.

Legislators and judges with strong ethical values
Are needed more than ever to bridge chaotic times,
Capable of making decisions with dispassionate minds
Searching relentlessly for what is right and just
Applying wisdom to laws creation and judicial codes.

Society needs polarized prejudices and passions cooled
And justice interpretations coming from righteous hearts
So people will again have confidence in American justice,
Our democratic government screams for righteous justice.
