Did We Save Democracy?

It certainly feels as if I’ve been here before. They (whoever “they” are?) say that history doesn’t repeat itself, but it rhymes. We were teetering over the abyss but we pulled ourselves onto solid ground. Perhaps this is the beginning of the “Fourth Turning,” and this crisis will pass. Are we at the cusp of a new beginning?
