Companies began to take their blinders off and diverse.
While conversations about race turned into much-needed dialogues.
Systemic racism was finally talked about after years of complacency.
Today, a guilty verdict was reached.
I cried tears of pain, happiness, and sorrow.
For almost a year we all held a breath and now we can finally exhale.
