Well, it’s time for a celebration! Our little pub in this corner of the Medium world has cleared 7,000 followers! While I don’t get too caught up in this number, I do take it as a sign that we are continuing to grow and expand our audience. This, of course, is in no small part due to the phenomenal writing that graces these web pages!
We have between 20 and 30 writers who regularly contribute to Politically Speaking, as well as a host of writers who stop in every so often to make their voices heard. That’s why it’s important to explore the section now titled “Gratitude.” This is where you will find a list of the contributors to PS for a given time period. The more you read someone’s work, the more inclined they are to continue to contribute to our pub, and Medium. And, you know what? Our contributors read the work of others who publish here.
That may mean, more earnings for you on the work you submit! Now, who doesn’t want that?!
So, today, we celebrate crossing the 7,000 follower milestone! Geez, less than two years ago, we had about 1,500 followers. I wonder how long it will take us to get to 10,000?
