The Political Difference Between Virus and Bacteria

When I read the difference in Webster’s dictionary (link below), it made me think of it from a political viewpoint. So I couldn’t resist writing the following satire to understand the difference.

Bacteria

Bacteria are politically conservative and can survive and reproduce without destroying their host. They work as a team and serve many roles to benefit society.

When bacteria cause an infection, it’s usually confined to one area. Bacteria are known to have good and bad qualities. Their good qualities provide valuable and necessary activities for life in general, as documented in the Merriam-Webster reference linked below.

Virus

On the other hand, viruses are liberal-minded and do not allow their host to have a productive life. They fulfill their existence by hijacking the host’s activities and taking what they can with little regard for their host’s welfare. They can’t survive without doing that.

When viruses cause infection, they multiply and spread destructively to surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the liberal nature of viruses leaves nothing good in their path, and they will even attack and destroy friendly bacteria. They are known as Bacteriophages (see video…
