What happened to “drain the swamp?”
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump repeatedly promised that he would “drain the swamp.” Despite my misgivings, Mr. Trump had some good ideas to achieve this. (For more details, check out this article from the BBC.)
Fast forward to 2020, and what happened? Did Trump succumb to the swamp’s grand revenge tour to unseat him — just four years after he told everyone that he and he alone could cleanse Washington? We’re talking about the most blatant and obscene case of voter fraud in America’s 246 years — literally hundreds of thousands of missing/illegitimate votes across multiple states. Pick any president in the history of the union, and you wouldn’t find anyone who messed up so badly.
