I am constantly amazed how many people don’t know that the Cold War wasn’t a time when we fought our way out of a really bad blizzard. Somehow we’ve forgotten a time when we all walked around in constant, gut wrenching fear that those pesky commies from the Soviet Union were about to send nuclear missiles over to America and kill us all.
