One day I was reading about political satirists and I came across a very old and funny satirist by the name of Mullah Nasruddin. Mullah Nasruddin was a Seljuk satirist, born in Hortu Village in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir Province, present-day Turkey. I kept on reading about his works and went on reading till my heart was full of joy and amazement at the man’s brilliance in satire.
And I planned to share this one particular story from Mullah Nasruddin on Politically Speaking as it was totally related to our current global political environment and the part we have played in selecting such brilliant head of states all over the world in different countries. So let’s read.

Mullah and the donkey
It was a very fine evening, the weather was very pleasant and mother nature was at the peak of its glory. Mullah Nasruddin was on the roof terrace of his house enjoying the views and he was totally lost in the scenic beauty of his surroundings, when suddenly he saw his donkey tied. He felt sad for his loyal donkey and…
