Well, the latest bright idea to deal with the crises in the striking and unreconciled England of early 2023 is to create new laws to stop the workers in six essential services from being able to strike.

This legislation has been precipitated, according to the Tory government, by the strike of ambulance staff (in particular) but will apply to nurses, teachers — who are now in the process of balloting — post workers, railway workers, and nuclear.
