What Will Our World Look Like on January 21?

America will be a very different place after Biden is sworn in

The entire country is counting down to the inauguration of Joe Biden as our 46th president. Over half of the population and most of the world will breathe a sigh of relief once he is sworn in.

Biden’s inauguration signals a shift in the direction of the US. We will be rejoining and re-engaging with the world again. No longer the Fortress America envisioned by Trump, we will be re-opening our borders, re-joining the fight against climate change, re-engaging with our traditional allies and trading partners.

Just as importantly, Biden’s agenda includes major changes in internal policies. The Federal government will take over the fight against the pandemic, introduce immigration legislation providing a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants and protections for the Dreamers, tax cuts . . .blah, blah, blah.

Let’s talk about the good stuff.

How about that change in leadership in the Senate? Chuck Schumer. They (whoever “they” are) claim the fact that Schumer is “only” worth $1.12 million compared to say…
