Which Republican Members of Congress Support Democracy?

A Republican group has created a report card that lets you see where individual Congressional Republicans stand on Trump’s attempts to overturn our democracy

The dissolution of the Republican party continues to fascinate me. The newest group to grab my attention is the Republican Accountability Project, which is an outgrowth of the group that aired “Republican Voters Against Trump” ads during the 2020 presidential campaign.

In the wake of the January 6 insurrection, the Republican Accountability Project has created a report card that rates Republicans in both the House and the Senate on four criteria:

1. Whether or not they signed onto the Texas lawsuit that tried to overturn Biden’s win in four states by cancelling votes.

2. Whether or not they voted to certify the election.

3. Whether or not they made public statements supporting Trump’s lies about the election.

4. Whether or not they voted to impeach (Representatives) or convict (Senators) Trump in January.

The report card is supposed to illustrate how Trump and his supporters in Congress are
