Will Trump Ever Concede the Race to Joe Biden?

The short answer is absolutely not in a million years.

Over the past four years, our nation has come to see Donald Trump and the man that he really is. Immediately, many people across the nation saw him as a fascist, a racist, and a homophobe. However, many Americans saw him as a man who was just trying to restore integrity to our nation. You either love him or you hate him. There does not seem to be much in between. This, in turn, is what has created the extreme and immense political divide in our country.

Even today, some Americans absolutely despise him while others worship him as the best President since Ronald Reagan. However, one thing that all Americans can and should agree on is that President Trump does not take losing as a result.

In his life when he lost at something, Trump always found a way to either get out of it or blame someone else. When a hotel deal fell through or when his $365 million dollar airline filed for bankruptcy, he always found a way out. It is no different in this scenario.

Therefore, the overall answer to the question asked in the title of this article is no, 100% no. Losing is simply not an option for President Trump and it never will be in the future.

In his mind, conceding is just not an option. He thinks that admitting defeat hurts his ego too much and admitting that he was not victorious would look weak on his part.

Never in a million years do I think that our President will concede this election. Even if the election was 110% transparent and honest, I still do not believe that he would fully accept defeat to Joe Biden and to the remainder of the nation.

As Trump’s failed legal challenges are working themselves out in court, it does look like we will be swearing in a new President on January 20th, 2021. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in. However, I do not think that this is without a fight.

Donald Trump is not known for not going down without a fight. Again, this instance is no different. I fully expect the entire Trump Legal Team to pull some of their famous nonsense in the court system. However, in the end, I do believe that the absolute truth will prevail. At least I can only hope.

Trump’s refusal to accept defeat is just one example of his narcissistic behavior that the American public has seen over the past four years.

Despite Trump losing this election, this will certainly not be the end of the man that took America by storm in 2016. Like him or not, it is more than likely that he will remain a huge presence in American politics and in the Republican Party as well. I cannot imagine a scenario where the Republican Party as a whole completely dumps Trump on the curb and moves on. However, I do believe that the GOP will change its ways from what the party was in the Trump Era to business as usual.

Only time will tell if we will be calling Donald Trump the Commander-in-Chief once again in 2024. We will just have to wait and see when the next election cycle has in store for America.
