The richest man on Earth calls Elizabeth Warren “Senator Karen” and then quotes Fox News to prove his point
The other day, Elizabeth Warren, a Harvard law professor, and a US Senator rightly pointed out that our system is severely screwed up when it comes to requiring the super rich pay their fair share of taxes. She points out, pretty much all the time, that income inequality is worse today than it has ever been.
One of the outcomes of such extreme income inequality is that it pushes a struggling and substantial minority of Americans into the arms of right wing extremists. It even leads to the election of dictator wannabes like Trump.
Having focused her comment on the richest human, Musk, the “Person of the Year,” didn’t like being singled out. In so many words, he said, “shut up, Karen!”
Here is what he actually said:
“If you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year,” he replied. “Don’t spend it all at once … oh wait you did already. You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everybody for no reason,” Musk continued. “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen (Senator Karen).”
