Trump Could Appeal Impeachment

If Congress decides to impeach and remove President Trump the Supreme Court would be empowered to determine if the legislative branch had acted within the bounds of the Constitution. The precedent laid down in Marbury v. Madison gives the court the power to apply the Constitution in the event of conflicts between the branches.
