It seems that during the past few months every headline has revolved around President Donald Trump. However, during the past couple of weeks all eyes have been on his son-in-law Jared Kushner. This all started back in March when reports came out that stated Kushner had set up a secret communications channel with Russian officials late last year.

Most people know that Kushner is the senior White House correspondent because his father-in-law is the President of the United States. But, who is this man and what qualifies him to be in this position of power.

Before Kushner followed in his father-in-law’s footsteps he was the CEO of Kushner Companies and of Observer Media. Many don’t realize how heavily involved Kushner was with Trumps presidential campaign. The New York Times reported in July that Kushner was “involved in virtually every facet of the Trump presidential operation.” In January 2017, Kushner took the role of Senior White House Advisor following his father in-law into the White House.

Prior to working in the White House, Kushner grew up in Livingston, New Jersey where he was one of four siblings. He was raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish family. Kushner had a ‘charmed’ life. He attended Harvard University, a school where is father donated $2.5 Million dollars .

According to ACJ.com, Jared took over his father’s company, Kushner Companies, at a very young age after his father pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges in 2004.

In 2o09 Jared married Trump’s daughter Ivanka where they now have three children together.

Back in December of 2016 Forbes Magazine estimated Kushner’s net worth, which is $1.8 billion dollars. A large portion of this amount comes from his years of work in the Real Estate Industry. However, although Kushner does have experience in making money his experience in the political field is few to none. So why does he have such a prominent position in the White House you may ask? Well, that is what happens when your father-in-law is the President of the United States.

However, the question on everyone’s mind is “Is Kushner communicating with Russia?” Of course Trump and many news outlets took to Twitter to share their opinions on this matter. Trump retweeted this one article from Fox & friends.

He also tweeted this:

Kushner himself does have a Twitter page but has yet to use it.

Of course this all started after reports surfaced in March detailing meetings where Kushner met with figures close to the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to a number of different sources Kushner is now being investigated and it is not clear yet if these allegations are true.
