The literature on the intersection of politics and artificial intelligence (AI) is diverse and grows every day. To help you find the best and most up-to-date reports on the subjects you’re interested in, I have curated the following reading list on how AI is changing politics, policy, and governance — both domestically and globally.

The full reading list is available at this Google Doc. The document is open to comments because I want and encourage readers to provide feedback. Do you think the articles should be organized in a different way? What reports do you suggest I include or take out? What subjects would you like covered in the list that are currently missing?

I have capped the number of readings per subheading to five to keep the list relatively short and selective. I have also provided a brief summary of each article.

Finally, I owe Yale Professor Allan Dafoe a thank you for curating an extensive reading guide. I used his list as a foundation for creating mine.
