Kimberly Guilfoyle Was Once a Prosecutor, Gavin Newsom’s Wife, and a Fox News Host: 5 Reasons Why She’s Now a National Laughingstock
She Got Axed for Sexual Harassment
Kimberly Guilfoyle, the former Fox News personality who’s now better known as Donald Trump Jr’s long-time fiancé, has become a national embarrassment and the butt of jokes on late night TV. In addition to Kimmel, Fallon, Meyers, and Colbert poking fun at her, the mainstream media all-too-frequently describes her with the same two words: train wreck.
A recently exposed email from Fox honcho, Rupert Murdoch, confirmed that Guilfoyle had been fired from the conservative network after a female assistant accused her of sexual harassment (this was revealed as part of Dominion Voting System’s defamation lawsuit against Fox).
Because the network had already received negative publicity for sexual misconduct allegations against its executives and on-air personalities (CEO Roger Ailes and political pundit Bill O’Reilly to name just two), it had no other choice but to sack Guilfoyle.
Fox settled with her accuser out of court for a reported $4 million.
