Former president accidentally revealed how he keeps Cult45 in information bubble

Former President Donald Trump recently confirmed the adage a broken clock is right once a day. During one of his increasingly delusional rallies, he explained how disinformation and propaganda work.

“If you say it enough and keep saying it, they’ll start to believe you,’ said Trump during a Florida rally.

He was talking about how the media smears conservative politicians, but he was actually describing his own behavior. Trump is a pathological liar. During his time in the White House, he told more than 30,000 documented lies. Yet, his supporters believed most of them.

They said they voted for him…

Democrats, cops did the right thing; Republicans continue race to the bottom

I watched most of the Jan. 6 House Select Committee Hearing on Tuesday with rapt attention. Personally, I think it’s something that all Americans should’ve watched. After all, the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was the most devastating terrorist attack since 9/11.

During the hearing, officers who fought on the frontlines of the attack gave heart-rending and devastating testimony. The officers included Harry Dunn and Michael Fanone, who have become nationally recognized for their frequent interviews on television, Sgt. Aquilino Gonell and Officer Daniel Hodges.

Hodges was the officer who was trapped in the door and was being crushed…

The end was worse than anyone imagined.

A slate of new bestselling books has revealed much more, though certainly not all, about the dumpster fire conclusion of the Trump administration, and it’s ugly as sin. It was a Shakespearean catastrophe built around a narcissistic president’s infinitely disordered personality, operating in tandem with his fawning and utterly unscrupulous Republican lackeys, as Trump exercised his unique and horrifying ability to exert control over the soft minds of his millions of Americans, and thus America itself.

It was a farce, this incompetent buffoon king and his imbecile court, and a nightmare, American democracy hanging by a dangling thread, in the…

American right-wingers are big fanboys of Russian autocrat

It’s difficult to keep up with FOX News commentator Tucker Carlson’s rapid descent to the bottom. So far, he’s been proved to be a liar for falsely accusing the NSA of monitoring his emails, continued to try and kill his viewers by spreading anti-vaccine disinformation and recently, he was cursed out in public by an angry shopper. But it’s only Monday, so there’s plenty of time for more screw-ups.

But let’s go back to that thing about the NSA. Carlson was trying to secure an interview with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. However, Putin runs a thugocracy. …

Adult film actress surprised to learn Candace Owens really is a terrible person

A conservative porn star might sound like the world’s biggest oxymoron, but one exists. Her name is Brandi Love, and a few weeks ago, she found out the true nature of conservative politics. Love, who brands herself as the “Maga porn star” whatever the hell that means, attended Talking Point USA’s Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida. She was surprised when she was ostracized, chased out of the conference, and generally treated like a leper.

“Love, 48, had attended a number of panels during Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida when she discovered that her VIP badge…

Clueless president ran chaotic campaign, WH

Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns were marked by rank amateurism. Many of the top campaign staffers had little or no experience. This is talked about in Michael C. Bender’s “Frankly, We Did Win This Election.” Case in point, the only experience Jared Kushner had was as a Democratic donor. Yet, he functioned as the shadow chief of staff.

Hope Hicks, Trump campaign communications director, had never worked in politics before. And Brad Parscale, who ran the Trump 2020 campaign for a while, had never headed up a presidential operation! How are you going…

MAGA terrorists willing to wage war to reinstall Dear Leader

I keep making the same mistake of refusing to heed Malcolm Nance’s advice. Several months ago, he warned that Trump would not go away quietly. During testimony in front of Congress, Nance, a retired counterintelligence officer, warned that Trump’s neofascist movement would morph into an insurgency.

An insurgency is an ongoing violent campaign to overthrow a government. The Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol was an insurrection, just one act, but that has now morphed into a continuing struggle to topple the United States’ government, and, I shudder as I say this, install former President Donald Trump as a dictator.

The current social care system is plagued by poor standards and low funding. But even if we fix these problems, there’s another lurking ahead.

The British social care system needs reform.

On that, almost everyone can agree. There is simply not enough funding in the system, nor good enough provision, nor sufficient staffing levels. Ultimately, though, most problems in the sector flow from funding, and, in particular, the mechanisms through which the social care sector is funded.

But where the NHS has a simple funding mechanism, and is thus a simple institution with basic flaws, we might shed the most light on the social care system by recognising that it is not really a ‘system’ at all. …

Preaching the gospel of cash, power, and stupidity.

As it tends to do, Twitter went berserk the other day, in uproarious outrage over Texas megachurch pastor Joel Osteen’s brand new $325,000 Ferrari. In an era of rising income inequality and brutal poverty in America, Osteen’s ostentatious display of wealth proved too much to swallow.

Further amplifying the schism were the $4.4 million dollars in PPP bailouts given to Osteen’s church by the federal government, along with the fact that churches pay virtually nothing in taxes.

The disgust was palpable:

Remember that one time Joel Osteen helped the poor instead of himself? Yeah, me neither.

Putin’s plot to install Trump and destabilize America has now come full circle.

It seems a little birdie wishes to remind America that Donald Trump was indeed the Kremlin’s man in the White House, following the curious “leak” of highly classified internal Russian policy papers to The Guardian newspaper in Britain that appear to be Vladimir Putin’s signed decree to support Donald Trump using “all possible force.”

Experts have said the leaked documents appear to be genuine, and Western intelligence agencies have been carefully examining the papers for several months.

Indeed, these documents appear to be the gloating exclamation point on what is perhaps the most wildly successful Russian intelligence operation ever conducted…
