Save The Children from QAnon
A twenty-nine year old man named Welch drove from Salisbury, N.C. to the Comet Ping Pong Pizzeria in Washington, DC on December 4, 2016 with a military assault weapon and three other guns, led online to believe Hillary Clinton was “molesting children” in the restaurant’s basement. Michael Flynn’s son, QAnon follower, was one of those who tweeted it. When the man arrived to rescue molested children, he found no basement, no Hillary, no children, and was arrested for threatening the pizzeria’s employees with a firearm, all of whom fled safely. He was sentenced to four years in prison and three years probation, and forced to pay a fine. The information that led him on this wild goose chase against a phantom enemy was no more valid or true than any of the other whacko dirt the cult calling themselves “QAnon” espouses.
Hate groups spewing toxic lies have demonized people since the beginning of mankind. Hitler preached grotesque myths about Jews to dehumanize them. A Nazi film called “The Eternal Jew” in 1937 compared Jews to rats with tails that carry contagion, flood the continent, and devour precious resources. The Klu Klux Klan equated African Americans with apes, distorting Biblical scripture to justify their hatred. White “Christians” could burn crosses and lynch black people with impunity if they were convinced these weren’t humans at all.
The poisonous garbage QAnon spews is as insidious as any other hate group’s and with the same intentions. The demon brain dreaming up QAnon’s lies attempted to demonize Democrats, liberals, the Democratic party, Hillary Clinton specifically, in the 2016 election, as a means to glorify and give false cover to the perverse record of the most criminally deceitful person in American politics, Donald J. Trump.
It isn’t hard to trace the lineage of Trump to this bizarre cult of myths and lies. To see how a serial liar, impostor, and phony grifter like Trump would inspire a demonic cult leader named “Q” to conjure up poisonous lies for him, and why Trump wouldn’t disavow those lies or the cult itself.
Jesus said: “Be shrewd as serpents but harmless as doves.” Any movement doing good has no need to deceive or spread lies. Any group who does God’s work has God’s protection. If there is a certain giveaway that a movement is evil, it is falseness and deception.
Big Lies worked best, Hitler discovered. The grander and crazier the lies, the more people will believe them. QAnon swears that Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Tom Hanks, Anderson Cooper, a whole laundry list of other ostensibly “pedophile” liberal Democrats, are involved in some massive, worldwide sex trafficking ring. A phony video that is supposedly Hillary Clinton torturing a child, cutting its face off and putting it on her face to gain some mythical power, is their proof. They swear that’s Hillary committing the heinous act. They spread the video online, and other ridiculous lies supporting it, proclaiming the sole mission of followers of a mysterious person named ” Q,” is to “save the children” from Satanic liberals. They proclaim liberals are not only molesting children while engaged in sex trafficking, they are eating their flesh and drinking their blood.
Not only do you have to be idiotically gullible to believe this silly conspiracy crap, but some pathological part of you has to live in it. Prejudice toward liberals or Hillary Clinton aside, why would anyone buy any of it? There is a scripture-like manifesto repeated ad nauseum until QAnons can believe nothing else. QAnon followers at their rallies, asked if they actually believe that is Hillary Clinton in the propaganda video, all, to a person, without proof, (and not seeming curious how anyone might come across such a video) robotically answer,“Yes, I believe that’s her.”
So who in this delusional, mythological world was supposed to rise up and slaughter the Satanic liberals and “rescue the children?” None other than Donald Trump, credibly accused by a 13 year old girl of rape, now accused by 29 separate women of sexual assault, who is in a defamation suit with writer E. Jean Carroll who claims he raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in 1994. The same Trump who bragged on tape about grabbing women by the pussy, who spent years hanging out with fellow child molester, Jeffrey Epstein (likely murdered in his cell by those charged with protecting him). Who is also friends with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s girlfriend and pimp, currently in prison charged with — you got it — sex trafficking. When she was arrested for sex trafficking, Donald Trump said simply, “I wish her well.”
Do you see a pattern here?
Trump is an accused child molester and rapist, so coincidentally, QAnon claims liberals are sexually molesting children. What an original idea. Could it be the mysterious genius Q knew Trump was so tainted, perverse, such a sicko sex criminal, that they had to tell Big Lies about his nemesis and all who oppose him politically, to try to flip the script and take the heat off of him?Because the nature of all cults is to deify the Dear Leader, painting anyone who opposes him as evil instead. And if you haven’t noticed, Trump has made a lifetime of knee jerk accusing others of what he’s guilty of himself.
QAnon challenges followers to help them “save the children,” to rise up and destroy the evil doers and be God’s right hand. But the fact is, because of the lies QAnon spews, the phoniness their cult is floated on, the noxious rot their lies are intended to do, they themselves are the ones children must be saved from. Children must be saved from the whole stinking, demonic, desperate movement, a whack cult as full of shit as a Christmas turkey.
What is most insidious and evil about QAnon, is that they use every decent human being’s natural desire to protect children as their bait. They accuse, falsely, without evidence, a political faction, of harming children, and call on all good, Christian folk to be their saviors. Young mothers with kids and babies in their arms are taken in and drawn to them like flies. It is baiting gullible parents with lies, with the pretense of doing something noble for humanity and mankind, by smearing people they know they cannot gain power over by any other means. It is part of an underground attempt to gain power for right wing racism, bigotry toward dark-skinned immigrants, xenophobia, that is the mission and heart and soul of the Republican party to empower white America, and with it white supremacist organizations.
It is a false mission. It is a movement of insane concoctions. It is right wing fanatical deception in the shadows. It is giving up ones soul to an evil entity of lies in blindness and moral stupidity. But apparently it is amusement and gratification for disgruntled, lost souls who want to believe they have some power and consequence in life, and were taken in by this cult. Who want to believe they matter in some bizarre personal way, regardless of the absurdity and falseness of their claims.
Every cult that ever was began with Big Lies that led to sacrilege and perversion. Charles Manson, the Waco Cult under David Koresh, Jim Jones, who forced 918 people to drink poison Koolaide in Guyana. QAnon is no different than any other controlling cult. Big Lies poison everyone who believes them, misleading and weaponizing everyone who follows them.
When the Coronavirus entered the picture, QAnon revved up its false information machine quickly to support Donald Trump’s disastrous ineptitude and incompetence to deal with it. As Trump bungled the pandemic, like he did everything else, QAnons pretended it was a hoax created to bring Trump down. It had to blame Trump’s fiasco on someone else, while at the same time contradicting themselves, pretending it wasn’t anything to worry about.
First and always the Chinese, of course, claiming it was made in a lab. Of course there was The Big Lie that Barack Obama had somehow orchestrated the virus and launched it on America. Meanwhile, health care professionals, doctors and scientists who tried to deal with the virus straight on, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the head of the CDC, were demonized, muzzled, their families threatened. QAnons falsely pretended the virus was no different than the flu, but was a liberal plot to bring down their great savior, Trump. It didn’t matter that one set of lies contradicted and weakened another, they threw anything against the wall they thought would stick.
On February 24, 2020, Trump said, “One day it will disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear,”and then did nothing to stop it, short of suggesting people drink bleach to kill it. Or take hydrochloroquine, for which there was no evidence it prevented or cured Covid-19. In fact, over the next year Trump said 40 times the Coronavirus would simply “go away” by itself.
On one hand Trump was telling Bob Woodward the virus was deadly in taped interviews, at the same time in April, 2020, he said, “Easter is a very important time for me,” and he wanted to see the churches packed on Easter Day, while they were burying 800 bodies a day in New York City in mass graves. He didn’t give a damn that the virus was killing 4 or 5 thousand Americans a day, he wanted “his” economy back. He not only never urged Americans to wear masks, Trump scoffed at them for wearing them, claiming people wearing masks were doing it to “mock him.”
As the economy crashed due to shutting down, and unemployment was the worst it had been since the Great Depression, QAnon had to figure out how to continue to exalt and glorify Donald Trump, who even clueless Americans were now realizing was a colossal failure and disaster at everything he touched, a complete moronic con man and clown. When Trump is caught, exposed, humiliated by thousands of lies, and “Make America Great Again” is revealed to be the biggest dumpster fire in American history, what does QAnon try next?
QAnon’s lies, apeshit stories and myths weren’t able to polish the massive turd that is Donald Trump. The polls showed America was going to vote for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. Trump even accused news organizations of putting out false numbers in polls that showed Trump was going to get trounced, calling them “suppressive.” Americans were sick of his raving lies and bullshit. Trump dropped his BIG LIE the night of the election, when he came out at 3 in the morning and said “They are trying to steal this election.” He had laid the groundwork for it by saying the only way he could lose was if the election was “rigged.” He’d said it would be the most corrupt election in history, offering nothing to back that up. Because Trump is far too much of a dishonest coward and childish brat to gracefully admit he was defeated. Not to mention that he was being investigated for serious crimes that, once he wasn’t president, would open up like a hornet’s nest.
So what was QAnon’s next big move? Their messiah lost the election by 7 million popular votes, while Trump, of course, claimed he won. The electoral votes were confirmed in December. And once again QAnon geared up to promise that Trump would still be reelected, would somehow con the system that correctly ousted him, and that by some unseen miracle he would rise again and take over the country.
It is and forever will be, Donald Trump’s Big Cowardly Lie.
After making over 60 failed attempts in the courts to scam the election, to overturn lost states, pressuring and threatening the Georgia Secretary of State to “find votes” that would give him a victory there, pressuring legislators in other states to change the results, even putting pressure on his own Justice Department to declare the election was corrupt and invalid, and making ridiculous appeals to the Supreme Court to just invalidate the election in swing states he lost, Trump, and QAnon, and other fanatical right wing groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, began plotting a way to halt the official certification of election results on January 6th, 2021.
It is no coincidence that on the day after the first black Senator and the first Jewish Senator were elected in Georgia in a runoff election, Ralph Warnock and John Ossoff, on January 5th, an all white violent racist mob of Trump fanatics, QAnon, Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and God knows what other white, racist knuckledraggers, who heard Trump’s rallying call to come to the Capitol on January 6th, attacked the seat of America’s Democracy. They smashed into the Capitol, wounding 160 officers, resulting in 5 deaths, chanting “hang Mike Pence!” They erected a hangman’s gallows in front of the United States Capitol building. Stalking the halls of Congress bearing QAnon, Trump and antisemitic banners, Confederate flags and emblems, bearing tear gas, guns, knives, clubs, and pipe bombs, many wearing military riot and combat gear, they attacked the seat of American democracy.
So the craven mob whose pretentious claim is to “save the children,” tried on January 6th, 2021 to overthrow the government of the United States in a violent insurrection because they didn’t like the results of an election that, Trump’s own head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency deemed the most secure election in America’s history. If you had no other evidence the QAnon cult is at war with American democracy, the January 6th insurrection is proof.
America fought fascism in World War II, sacrificing 418, 000 lives. Now there are mobs of fascists among us, attacking everything these American soldiers fought and died for. It is as if millions of Americans no longer remember their history or exactly what these men sacrificed their lives for.
Attempting to overthrow the results of a free and fair election is the very definition of fascism. Attempting to subvert the voice and will of the people by force is pure fascism. These people are nothing less than domestic terrorists, thugs, and enemies of the United States of America. It is bizarre that every American citizen isn’t sickened and outraged by what happened on January 6th, 2021.
This is who and what QAnon is. Their lies and phony facade of doing anything noble or good is a farce. Their secret war in the shadows with absurd smears and misinformation shows they have nothing to offer but to try to gain power and overthrow American democracy by deceiving, which is Donald Trump’s playbook. In time QAnon should end up on the ash heap of every other failed, predatory cult that sought to wreak havoc against our democracy.
But every democracy has to be defended. Anyone with a love for what America espouses in its Constitution, for our bloodily hard fought for freedoms based on fundamental truths and laws, a war is being fought for America’s soul, not merely by flesh and blood, but with principalities in high places.
More than at any time since America gained its independence, forces are plotting to undo our democracy. Men are behaving like zombies infected with a brain-numbing virus that blocks all memory of an America that even twenty years ago would’ve have been repulsed by Donald Trump and anyone like him.
When whacko cults like QAnon manufacture lies to support a pathological liar like Trump, who tried everything in his power to steal an election, and spineless, dishonest Congress members will continue to lie for him, America is drifting toward a criminal government which would be the end of our country as we know it, and as the founding fathers envisioned it. In recent weeks we learned the blueprint a Trump lawyer had devised after the election to have Mike Pence simply invalidate America’s vote in swing states Trump needed to steal the election, to overthrow the voice of the people. The brazenness of this planned, failed coup is chilling, for anyone who still cherishes democracy over fascism.
What is most shocking is how many Americans are sleepwalking and blindly lackadaisical to it. They are either duped by this racist con man, or so hate-driven they don’t see what they are in jeopardy of losing is what separates America from the rest of the world. When leadership is unchecked by the laws of the people, America is done for. When it’s gone, it’s not coming back. America will be The Land of the Zombies where truth is never spoken, where false prophets and liars remake America in their own obscene image, and make up phony facts and stories, as they’ve tried to do since Trump took office.
America will then be a police state, like Russia, run by some Vladmir Putin wannabe, like Donald Trump. It will be unrecognizable. No matter how much this battle appears political, it’s far more than that.
It is spiritual war unlike any America has ever faced.
God save the children from QAnon. And God save America from cults of power hungry vipers raring their deceitful heads against us.
