Polkadot

• Polkadot Introduces JAM Protocol Innovations: Spearheaded by Gavin Wood, the JAM (Join-Accumulate Machine) protocol is designed to evolve the Polkadot network by integrating features of both Polkadot and Ethereum. • JAM aims to maintain support for existing Substrate-based parachains and proposes using only DOT for interactions, with no new tokens issued. The initiative includes a significant community involvement aspect, requiring a decentralized governance vote to approve its implementation. • Expansion in Brazil Through Strategic Partnerships: In Q4 2023, Moonbeam’s collaboration with DUX and Grupo RÃO launched a pioneering Web3 loyalty program reaching over 2.3 million customers, significantly expanding Moonbeam’s footprint in Brazil. Additionally, the partnership with Tokeniza has facilitated the tokenization of valuable judicial assets on the Moonbeam blockchain, following regulatory guidance from Brazilian regulator CVM.
