Polkadot / Kusama

• A few days ago, Kusama parachains stopped including blocks due to a dispute in a finalized block, triggering an automated safety mechanism. This resulted in Kusama parachains going offline. Referendum #263 was held to fix the issue of the inclusion of blocks on the relay chain.
• Astar Network has secured a self-funded Polkadot parachain slot.

Acala / Karura

• Acala Multichain Asset Router 1.0 is now live, enabling asset transfer from any chain to any parachain seamlessly in a single transaction.
• tDOT’s DOT-LDOT stable pool has been integrated into the Acala guide to add liquidity.

HydraDX / Basilisk

Collaboration between Moonbeam Network and HydraDX is gaining steam. It is bringing the Polkadot community much closer to the multi-chain vision, one of the key selling points of Polkadot. Here is a summary of what has happened and what is brewing next.

Phala / Khala

Phala’s first hack challenge with Developer DAO is done, and the team is impressed with the submissions. Developers used Lens Protocol Oracle Blueprint to do Phantastic projects in on-chain games, Dynamic NFT, Monetization, and more.

Crust / Shadow

• Crust has been added to Messari, a leading provider of market intelligence products that help professionals navigate crypto with confidence.
• To celebrate the 2nd PolkaPals Quest, Crust is hosting a giveaway.
• Developers in the zkSync ecosystem can now seamlessly access the decentralized storage capabilities of Crust Network.

Litentry / Litmus

• Litentry Token Burn Event #3 was reviewed on Litentry governance. The project will burn 377.800 LIT tokens this 3rd quarter, marking another burn event out of 8 planned.
• Litentry is excited to announce its Research Bounty Program, where chosen submissions will receive 1000 LIT as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the project. The program is open to all.

Astar / Shiden / Startale Labs

• Astar has submitted a proposal to be elected to administer the bounty on behalf of the community.
• The Astar Weekly Recap is available here.
• In less than two weeks, Astar will share Supernova. In the description of the event, the project provided a cryptic quote: “The penultimate stage of a supernova is its final flash; the core turns into a neutron star. Astar will shine as its brightest…13th Sep 2023.”

Interlay / Kintsugi

• Interlay is excited to spearhead the efforts to bring Fiat on-ramp service & integration for 20 parachains and the Asset Hub in the Polkadot ecosystem through Polkadot treasury funding. Details.
• The team behind Interlay announced plans for BOB, a new Bitcoin layer-2 network compatible with Ethereum’s EVM software environment.

Centrifuge / Altair

• Centrifuge’s temperature check to allocate a portion of the Aave treasury to real-world assets via Centrifuge Prime has passed. What are the next steps? Read this thread to find out.

Moonbeam / Moonriver

• The Moonbeam team wants to be clear: the Moonbeam Foundation does not, has not, and will never participate in voting for the Ecosystem Grant referenda. Its commitment is to a decentralized and community-driven process.
• Tranche 2 of the Moonbeam Ecosystem Grants has been officially approved, and the latest series of grants has been awarded to Beamswap, Gamma, and Moonwell.
• In May, Moonbeam surveyed for feedback on delegation voting. What the team found is helping them roll out a new, efficient way for users to participate in on-chain governance easily. Read the blog to see what the respondents said.
• Trust Wallet has integrated Moonbeam and Moonriver on both Android and iOS.

Composable Finance / Picasso

• Here is not the most refined, but a minimally technical explanation video of how multihop from Polkadot -> Composable -> Picasso -> Centauri -> Osmosis works under the hood.
• Composable Finance’s proposal on Osmosis to deploy Composable VM (CVM) contracts on Osmosis is live for voting.
• Proposal #210 on Stargaze has passed. Thanks to all who voted, 2M stars will soon be allocated as liquidity incentives to the DOT / STARS pool on the Pablo DEX.
