Polkadot / Kusama

• An article titled “A Year in Parachains, Part 2: System Chains, Smart Contracts, & Social Media” was published on the Polkadot Network blog.
• Radha, Tech Ed Lead at W3F, gave a talk at Messari Mainnet on the new OpenGov system coming to Polkadot (and already live on Kusama).

• Since the launch of Polkadot’s staking dashboard and nomination pools, staking participation has skyrocketed on Polkadot, seeing 1500 new users every month. Check this blog for the latest updates for the staking dashboard and staking on Polkadot.

Acala / Karura

• Due to an inadequate parachain lease renewal process, there is a live vote for Karura & MangataX to each do a lease swap for two slots on Kusama. Acala has raised a Github issue & is designing an improved lease renewal process.
• Referendum #79 has passed on Karura. This proposal will sell the Karura CDP Treasury’s 18.686 collected KSM collateral for aUSD in either auctions and/or on the Karura DEX.

HydraDX / Basilisk

• Liquidity Mining is now live on Basilisk. Users can deposit their BSX <> TNKR and BSX <> USDT LP shares into the farm to earn rewards.

Phala / Khala

• StellaSwap has partnered with Phala to bring PHA into Moonbeam. This partnership marks a significant milestone between the prominent parachains within the Polkadot network.
• Apillon will join Phala to bring trustless and capable computing power closer to Web3 builders. Learn more about what integrating decentralized computing power into the Apillon platform means for Web3 adoption.

Energy Web

• Energy Web is now available on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace. This is another step forward in making our services more accessible for enterprise users and unleashing Energy Web as-a-service.

Crust / Shadow

• Crust has been dedicated to decentralized storage for four years, and its team is committed to enabling more developers and users on public chains to use it. Check out the recently published Crust application scenarios and cases to learn more.

Litentry / Litmus

• A governance platform for the Litentry parachain released. It handles Litentry’s on-chain governance issues and requires LIT in the Litentry parachain to participate.

Astar / Shiden

• Together with Sony Network Communications, Astar Network is launching a unique Web3 incubation program designed to help develop top-tier Web3 projects. Successful applicants will work closely with the leaders of Web3, including Polkadot and Web3 Foundation. Details.
• USDT XFlows is now live on Polkadot via Astar. This enables native-to-native cross-chain transfers between blockchains where USDT is natively minted by Tether.

Interlay / Kintsugi

• Interlay v2 is expanding from a bridge to a fully decentralized network providing DeFi tools for Bitcoin users.
• There is a new pool live on the Kintsugi testnet. Deposit desired amount into any pool to join the raffle.
• Interlay and Kintsugi now allow users to utilize USDT as collateral. This will help spread the risk between more assets and benefit from the ease of measuring risk against USD.

Centrifuge / Altair

Moonbeam / Moonriver

• OpenGov is Live on Moonriver. Moonbeam has released OpenGov on Moonriver as part of runtime 2100 after the passing of referendum 128. The OpenGov rollout on Moonbeam will begin with this Moonriver implementation for community feedback. Future referenda will be held to allow the community to decide how OpenGov will evolve and move to Moonbeam.
• Web3alert has updated Moonriver alerts, adding OpenGov. Users can now receive alerts on any referendum of any Track.
