Acala / Karura

  • Acala’s ACA emissions and burn upgrade is targeted to be on Aug 15 provided the community vote is passed. The upgrade will optimize the network growth, sustainability & safety by boosting ACA utility such as staking, aligning incentives and as a securing element.
  • ACA burns: a portion of unspent emissions will be burned periodically e.g. 1% every month. A portion of the network fees accumulated over a period of time will also be burned via governance e.g. 20% every six months. This overtime may make ACA deflationary.
  • Acala upgrade 2.18.0 vote has passed and been executed, meaning Multichain Asset Router v1.0 transfer assets any chain — to any parachains — within a single transaction is coming to Acala soon.

Ontology

  • Tune in to the latest episode of the Ontology podcast on Spotify. Join the team as they celebrate Ontology’s 5th MainNet anniversary, featuring discussions with contributors, collaborators, and partners. Discover their insights on improving Web3 UX.
