Polkadot / Kusama

• Council Motion 398, proposing to create a Referendum to gradually increase the number of active validators from 297 to 400 on Polkadot, has been executed.

• Referendum 114, proposing to onboard a Bridge Hub system parachain to Polkadot has successfully passed.
• Prime Protocol, the first cross-chain DeFi protocol that lets users easily manage assets across multiple chains, has joined the Polkadot ecosystem, successfully launching on the Moonbeam parachain. This technology is revolutionary in the crypto space, and will comprehensively change the way users can get more value from their portfolios across multiple networks.
• Web3 Foundation’s Daniel Schoenberger presented the Polkadot network and Web3 vision before the House Financial Services GOP & House Committee on Agriculture.

Acala / Karura

• Acala has launched any chain to any parachain “Multichain Asset Router” v1.0 Testnet. Via a single UI, users can route assets from any blockchain supported by Wormhole to any Polkadot/Kusama parachain seamlessly.
• The Acala Foundation has officially secured the next parachain slot lease on Polkadot in advance as the current lease expires in October. The new lease is also for a period of 96 weeks.

Ontology

• The Ontology team has put forth a proposal for integrating Uniswap V3 with Ontology EVM. This partnership promises to bring mutual benefits, enhancing the reach & functionalities of both ecosystems.
• iZUMi Finance now supports assets on the Ontology EVM, paving the way for improved liquidity and a smoother experience.

Phala / Khala

• What do builders and devs think about Phat Contract and the Phat Bricks demo? The Phala team representatives asked them to share their thoughts after the “Dinning Off-Chain” event during Consensus 2023.

Energy Web

• Energy Web has successfully integrated with Safe. This integration into Energy Web’s dedicated infrastructure simplifies the process of creating, configuring, and managing smart contract accounts on chain.

Crust / Shadow

• The first round of Arbitrum airdrop rewards for Crust users has been fully distributed. Stay tuned for the rules of the second round.

Litentry / Litmus

• Litentry reports that its team member’s Discord may have been compromised. There is no official Airdrop from the project, all official announcements are made through Twitter first.

Astar / Shiden

• New Astar Portal has just shed its skin and is looking fresh. Check out this new and improved UI.
• JR Kyushu Railway Company is launching NFTs on Astar Network to boost customer engagement. Read more.

Interlay / Kintsugi

• StellaSwap’s proposal to launch iBTC on Pulsar V3 has officially passed on Interlay’s governance.
• The co-founder of Interlay has suggested a new token standard, which aims to unlock countless DeFi use cases for BRC-20 tokens, such as DEX swaps, borrowing/lending etc.

Centrifuge / Altair

• Ledger’s support for Centrifuge’s native CFG tokens was updated. If you have had difficulty transferring CFG from your wallet in the past, update your firmware to make Ledger + CFG work as intended.

Moonbeam / Moonriver

• Moonbeam x Equilibrium XCM integration brings Multichain assets & supports bridged liquidity from outside the Polkadot ecosystem via connected contracts. Read more.
• Prime Protocol is now live on Moonbeam. As the first natively cross-chain prime brokerage, it enables DeFi users to borrow against assets on any supported chain without token bridges, swaps, or wrapping.
• De.Fi has integrated its Antivirus Suite, including Scanner & Shield security tools to Moonbeam.
• Moonbeam x Manta XCM integration is now up for vote on Polkassembly until Tuesday, May 23rd.
• Upcoming Runtime Upgrade (2400 or 2500) will include the capability for any native ERC-20 to be bridged from Moonriver to any other connected parachain on Kusama.

Composable Finance / Picasso

• Composable Finance has introduced the Centauri Early Adopter Program powered by Galxe.
• Nova Wallet users can now manage their DOT, KSM and USDT tokens on Picasso.

Bit.Country / Pioneer

• Bit.Country has published its May Development Update.

Manta / Calamari

• The next-gen Web3 collab platform TaskOn has onboarded Manta as an ecosystem partner. Users are welcome to participate in a giveaway dedicated to this event.
• Manta is excited to integrate Type!t to its ecosystem as an upcoming project to integrate zkSBTs such as zkBAB for private on-chain user verification.

Enjin / Efinity

• Enjin is extending its NFT.io beta indefinitely to give everyone the chance to try it out.

Equilibrium / Genshiro

• Equilibrium’s EQ and EQD stablecoin are now available in the Moonbeam dApp via XCM.

Dock

• Verifiable Credentials distribution via email is currently in testing. Dock will have it ready for release soon.
• Dock has introduced a new feature called Threshold Signatures. It ensures that multiple parties must agree on a decision before it is considered valid.
