Zenlink DEX: 2nd Beta Test
Polkadot News was happy to participate in the closed 2nd beta test of Zenlink Dex on Moonriver network.
Zenlink is an underlying cross-chain DEX protocol based on Polkadot, and is committed to become the DEX composable hub of Polkadot. By accessing the ultimate, open and universal cross-chain DEX protocol based on Substrate, Zenlink DEX Protocol enables all parachains to build DEX and achieve liquidity sharing in one click. Zenlink DEX Protocol includes Module, WSAM, and EVM implementations, which are flexible and adaptable, allowing for customizable compositions and interoperability with different DeFi modules.
Testing process included Bootstrapping, Swap and Liquidity pools.
This test was performed on Moonriver Network.
For the second testing round Zenlink DEX has created two liquidity pools: TKSM/TUSDT and TKSM/TMOVR, which can switch between the above two trading pairs for direct Swap operation.
Let me share with you several screenshots of the Zenlink App to show how it was.
Swap process
Liquidity Bootstrap, both a pair of tokens and single-token.
Bootstrap is designed to help bootstrap liquidity of a token pair, enabling liquidity pools to be created with greater capital efficiency during initial allocation and price discovery. It will separate the process of price changes, pair allocation and liquidity construction, thus creating more reasonable exchange rates before trading, effectively avoiding pre-emptive trading, etc.

Summary
The interface seems to be very clear, user friendly, intuitive, and accessible. If you already have some experience in Dex, it will be easy to navigate through the app. New users perhaps will need more clarifying pop-ups or links. For example some people can be confused about the difference between Liquidity pools and Bootstrapping.
While testing the app there were no bugs revealed, everything ran smooth, fast and thanks to Moonriver Network — cheap.
In my opinion, the Zenlink team did a great job, and I can’t wait to try the other features that we could see in the left panel: Earn, NFT Crowdloan (what is that?) and Combined DEX.
