On June 3, 2022, we successfully organized an AMA event with Oceanland, on Red Kite’s Telegram Channel. We’d like to give a massive thanks to all of our audiences who joined us and our special guests Mr. Eyüp Akçetin - CEO of Oceanland, who shared great things about the project.
In this recap, you will learn more about Oceanland — a play-to-earn type blockchain game that combines crypto-economics with the gaming world.

Segment 1: Guests and Project Introduction
Host: Please welcome our speakers for today! Mr. Eyüp Akçetin — CEO of Oceanland. How are you today sir?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: Hey all, I’m great! Nice to be here with you today. Can’t wait to start our AMA!
Host: Let’s begin with segment 1 question. Please introduce yourself, how did you start your journey in crypto, and your position in the team.
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: I’m Eyup Akcetin and I’m currently employed at Mugla Sitki Kocaman University as Assoc. Prof. I’ve been teaching various gaming lectures for over 10 years. I’m also interested in serious games, business games, edutainment, gamification, and blockchain games.
My first encounter with blockchain and crypto was back in 2020. I’ve been studying blockchain projects, analyzing various metrics, and researching the mathematics and economic structures since then in order to provide a long-lasting, strong and stable economy within a blockchain project.
Since I believe that the future will be built on blockchain technologies, I’ve formed my team to create a P2E game stronger and better than the alternatives, and I’m currently the CEO of Oceanland.

Host: The 2nd question is Can you give us a brief introduction of OceanLand project?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: Of course, with pleasure.
Oceanland is a Play-to-Earn blockchain game that combines crypto economics with the gaming world. The players earn income by gathering resources required for the main character. Oceanland brings different aspects of blockchain technology together by merging several crypto assets with DeFi and NFT.
Host: Can you share more about your roadmap ? What are you aiming to achieve in the 3-months term ?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: We have a busy schedule in order to deliver what we’ve promised. On June, we’re planning to hold our IGO, list on CEX, release full game version 1, provide DeFi platform, and launch marketplace.
On the next 3 months, we’re planning to develop and release mobile app, release new NFT collection, and start testing multichain features.

1st question for you is from @benjamin_McKink What do you consider to be the best features of Oceanland? Are there any features that Oceanland has that we can’t get on any other platform? Where can we stay informed of all the news that Oceanland has to offer us?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: A very nice question indeed. Happy to answer.
Oceanland has a strong in-game economy where we’ve developed various rules over hard work in order to ensure that inflation remains in a reasonable range. We also provide a strong and secure DeFi platform where players and investors can both benefit.
We’ve partnered with many strong partners whose tokens are listed on the top 5 exchanges. This gives us both confidence and strength. Moreover, players and investors can farm these partner tokens, which we call “Treasure Tokens”, and gain special prizes.

Host: The 2nd question is from @tamee6789 What is your anti-inflation mechanism? I see there are many metaverse game projects with high X at the beginning but they are not sustainable now, how can you maintain a stable token price that can attract users to join your game?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: In order to prevent steep price movements and provide a healthy and steady growth, we’ve utilized 3 main rules in Oceanland:
First rule is the Ticket system: Ticket system is the most effective inflation control mechanism in Oceanland. Tickets are required when upgrading a tool to a better version. Since these tickets are found by chance during mining, players won’t be able to craft whenever they want. How and when can a ticket be found is calculated automatically by the system depending on the various conditions such as current number of tools and players. We believe that, there will be no exponential NFT tool crafting and resource growth which are the core reasons of the inflation.
Third rule is the Tool Homogeneity (N-2) Rule: This rule ensures that players cannot invest on a resource vertically, and produce that resource in excess. The use of NFT Tools in the game has been limited in order to balance the resources produced in the game. Therefore, players have to invest horizontally (meaning other resource types as well) when he/she wants to invest vertical (meaning on a single resource type).
We believe that, since we listened to all the complaints regarding the P2E world, we will provide the best P2E gaming experience.
Host: the 3rd question for you is from @lindanordberd Mobile games are popular this year and possibly in the future, because they are simple & can be played anywhere & at any time. Will #Oceanland_io be available on the Play store/App store? How can a player get the game by pay or free form easy ways?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: We’re well aware of the mobile game popularity and Oceanland mobile app is already on our roadmap. We’re expecting to release the first mobile version on both platforms in the 3rd quarter of 2022.
There is no free-to-play version currently in Oceanland. Players have to buy at least one NFT tool in order to participate. We’re developing our own Marketplace in which players can trade. We’ll also deliver a DeFi platform where players can swap game resources. Players can craft the NFTs they want after purchasing required crafting materials such as Wood and Metal.
Host: The 4th question is from @Prime_Miniister In P2E Games, it is very essential that the PlayToEarn function works well fairly, even for small players in game. Can you tell us what are the ways that we can earn in Oceanland_io? Can small players in-game make profit as well and not only professional gamers?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: A fair question.
We’ve developed different investment strategies for various types of players & investors. These are:
- Players & investors can purchase OLAND token as much as you want and #HODL.
- Players & investors can farm OLAND and our Partner Tokens in order to gain OLAND and special NFTs.
- Players & investors can purchase NFT tools and produce resources, and then sell it on our exchange.
- Players & investors can trade on our own marketplace.
We’ve also developed additional benefits for small investors:
- Tier-1 NFT tools, whereas tier-2, tier-3, and tier-4 tools, have no Durability value which means that they are never broken
- Tier-1 NFT tools have a much higher chance of finding tickets
Host: So this is the final question for you from @goskate_69 How does Your token $OLAND increase the value, liquidity and utility? So that it can lead to an increase in token prices? What is your plan to make your project stable and provide the highest return for investors in the long term?
Mr. Eyüp Akçetin: All the features and precautions we’ve talked earlier, belong to phase-1. We’ll continuously deliver new features, new NFTs, and new versions. We’re already planning phase-2 and phase-3 features and we’re also planning other inflation prevention mechanisms.
We’ll provide more $OLAND burning mechanics. We’ll also add more partners, and provide a wider range of farming for the crypto token holders.
