For our latest Advisor Spotlight, we are delighted to highlight Eric Su, CEO of Exnetwork. Eric is one of PolkaFoundry’s highly value advisors, bringing immense expertise as an accomplished serial entrepreneur in markets of key strategic importance.
In DeFi, Exnetwork is an investor in CoinMarketCap top 50 projects, including cross-chain swap network THORchain and crypto derivative exchange FTX, as well as other top coins including Celsius (CEL) and Reef Finance (REEF).
Furthermore, Exnetwork also has direct investment ties with the Polkadot multi-chain. The company’s portfolio includes cross-chain token launchpad Polkastarter and liquidity aggregator Reef Finance — a Polkadot pioneer as the first parachain on Binance. Hence, we relished the opportunity to take into account Eric’s views on the role of PolkaFoundry in the development of DeFi dApps for an interoperable future.
As an early investor in cross-chain DeFi solutions and as your own portfolio companies build bridges (e.g., Elrond–Reef, Orion-Polkastarter), how do you view the role of PolkaFoundry?
PolkaFoundry is one of those rare projects that significantly reduce the time and cost to build ecosystems. Now you pair that with their CEO, Thi, who has a passion for crypto while being very collaborative and what you get is one of the most promising projects to come out recently.
How do you foresee PolkaFoundry evolving in the future?
PolkaFoundry will become a key company for blockchain ecosystems like Polkadot, but also beyond it. It will be instrumental in assisting savvy teams who want to focus on other less perfected aspects of the blockchain experience like customer service, user experience, and high-level innovation.
In what areas will you actively provide guidance and support for the overall success of PolkaFoundry?
I am honored to lend my hard-earned wisdom advising over 50 projects and investing in over 200+ blockchain projects as CEO of Exnetwork Capital. PolkaFoundry is already a really solid project and I hope to contribute to its success in the long term.
