Announcing Automated Achievements Protocol
Polkamarkets Labs’ vision is to build a premier entertainment prediction market protocol powered by DeFi and NFTs, where users will be able to join an online community with engaging entertainment and loyalty incentives. We’re pleased to announce the Automated Achievements Protocol as another protocol incentive and gamification strategy.

This Automated Achievements Protocol is an addition to the Weekly Prizes that have been distributed in the last few months with a total of $3,000 USDC to the Top 3 addresses that make the most volume on the protocol, buy and sell the most shares, and add the most liquidity volume-wise. You can learn more about it here. We’re also working on the deployment of other activities to incentivize protocol adoption throughout the community and industry.
Automated Achievements Protocol (NFTs)
As a gamification strategy, we will create one-of-a-kind, unique, exclusive NFTs for each achievement within the protocol, and they will be 100% owned by users; they cannot be replicated, taken away, or destroyed.
The achievements are being used to incentivize users to engage with the protocol not only by leveraging game-entertainment-like mechanics but also to imply a certain level of utility in the future. These achievements can be:
- Placing a prediction in X markets;
- Adding liquidity to X markets;
- Creating X markets;
- Winning the prediction in X markets;
- And much more.
Soon, every user will have the opportunity to see their NFTs collection within the protocol app. These NFTs will work as a gamification badge/prize and in the future will play a role within the protocol.
Without further ado, we’re revealing the Polky Guy. Polky is the amazing mascot of Polkamarkets Labs, and is part of a collection of hand-drawn NFT digital avatars, granting the community and users access to future utility within the protocol. Polky is a quirky guy known for his hilarious adventures, and he’s on a mission to become the #1 Forecaster of real-world future events. Each Polky is a unique creation with randomized items and rarities.
Polky Guys are designed in a way that they can be used as avatars or profile pictures for popular social media platforms. They are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain. Created & illustrated by João Amaral, one of the youngest and most creative illustrators and art directors in Lisbon, Portugal. Spreading his creations since 2008, he has already won several creative awards, won 6 medals in YoungLions Portugal (Cannes festival), 3 of them were Gold.
