Key Highlights
Polkaswap testnet with DeFi-R
DeFi-R enables regulated financial institutions to participate in decentralized finance while adhering to strict compliance standards. Using Soulbound Tokens (SBTs), DeFi-R ensures secure and verified access to regulated assets, bridging the gap between decentralized innovation and regulatory requirements. DeFi-R is currently available to try out on the Polkaswap Testnet. Learn more about the functionalities in the recent article.
Polkaswap version 1.40.0
🌉 HASHI bridge now supports Curio network
This bridge is crucial for expanding Polkaswap’s cross-chain functionality, enhancing liquidity, and increasing interoperability. Once launched, Curio DAO’s CGT token will be listed on Polkaswap.io, and cross-chain transfers will be enabled. Additionally, XOR, VAL, PSWAP, and KSM have been whitelisted for XCM transfers to the Curio parachain, with these assets now available on Capital DEX.
📱 Picture-in-Picture mode for widgets on the Swap page
Use the [expand] button to pop out widgets over your screen neatly. With this mode, your widgets can now break free from the browser. They’ll stay visible even when you minimize your browser, floating above all your open windows for easy access.

Polkaswap version 1.39.0
🔥 Point System page
This release marks the first phase of the Point System, which tracks and accumulates user actions within the SORA network. In the upcoming version, accounts will earn a score based on their on-chain activity. SORATOPIA points from off-chain tasks will also be included in the score. This system encourages active participation in the ecosystem by providing new ways to earn rewards.
📲 Telegram Mini App improvements
The Polkaswap Telegram Mini App has been upgraded to support the native Telegram API, making it more accessible and easier to use. Additionally, haptic feedback has been added, improving the app’s interactivity. These updates make trading on Polkaswap through Telegram more seamless and intuitive.
🖼 Swap Page improvements
The Swap Page has undergone a significant redesign to offer more customization options. Users can now drag and resize widgets, creating a more personalized interface. Key updates include:
- New widgets, such as price charts for selected tokens and a supply chart.
- The ability to rearrange and resize widgets in “Edit” mode.
These changes enhance the trading experience by allowing users to tailor the interface to their preferences.
🔑 WalletConnect support for SORA accounts
Polkaswap now supports WalletConnect as an alternative login method for SORA accounts. This feature improves user flexibility by offering a more convenient way to access the platform. WalletConnect is also integrated into the Polkaswap Telegram Mini App, making it easier than ever to connect and trade.
Ongoing Developments
Polkaswap is actively working on several projects that will further expand its capabilities and improve user experience:
Asset Owner Page — 95% Complete
The new Asset Owner Page simplifies the token issuance process, allowing creators to issue tokens in just a few clicks. This feature lowers the barriers for token creation, fostering innovation and increasing liquidity. Future updates will expand the types of assets that can be created, including the introduction of Soulbound Tokens (SBTs), which will serve as digital identity tokens representing unique traits or achievements.
Point System Improvements — 10% Complete
Following the release of the Point System MVP, development is now focused on enhancing the system by incorporating more on-chain data and refining the indexer logic. New criteria for tasks, achievements, and points will be introduced in upcoming versions, making the system more rewarding for active participants.
HASHI Bridge with TON — 5% Complete
Following the listing of the Polkaswap Telegram Mini App on ton.app, work has begun on the HASHI Bridge with the TON network. This bridge will bring native TON tokens to Polkaswap, enhancing cross-chain interoperability. Stay tuned for more updates in future development cycles.
Pool Page Redesign — 5% Complete
Work has started on a redesign of the Pool Page to provide detailed statistics for account pools and simplify the liquidity-adding process. The goal is to make liquidity management more intuitive and efficient. Additional features will be rolled out in upcoming updates to improve the user experience further.
