Time for a Rest

Pollinate Magazine takes a hiatus for 2023.

With any good garden there comes a time when a bed needs to go fallow and rest. This is that time for Pollinate Magazine. While we will still be accepting and publishing your articles we will not be setting themes, querying for content or producing a monthly marketing push on magazine content on a monthly basis. Our focus will be turning toward a big expansion of our retreat work (yes, a writer’s retreat is in the works) and a new Seedlings program we are developing for our healing arts practitioners, many of whom are also writers.

We will also use this year to work through the strategic positioning of our publishing resources. We are examining Medium as a platform, how we want to integrate writing content and writers for our entire Pollinate community, and explore publishing book and curriculum projects. Look for requests for your feedback in the future as we turn over the soil in preparation for new seeds.

In the interim, we will maintain the Facebook group, Pollinate Scribes’ Hive, for you and will be featuring some of our articles from the archive on our content channels.

We’d also like to say a quick thank you to Yael Wolfe for her service as our Managing Editor in 2022. We wish her the best in her future pursuits.

While we are at rest I do want to encourage you to keep writing and submit any articles you think Pollinate would be a good home for. I’m always open to conversation too (hello@pollinateritual.com or if you’re like Joe Duncan you can find me on IG). Thank you for all you’ve contributed to Pollinate Magazine and we look forward to sharing our future direction with you soon.

Happy writing,

Kathryn
