Tip: Use our powerful mobile app to set price alerts for BTC, other assets
Price alerts can help you stay on top of the market even when you can’t have your eyes glued to a screen all day. Here’s how to set price alerts using Poloniex’s powerful mobile app — download for iOS or Android.
Let’s assume for this scenario that you want to set an alert for BTC going to $10,000. Please note you can choose any price.
Follow these steps for iOS or Android (screenshots shown for Android devices)
- Start the app
- Click on the Alerts icon on the bottom of your screen
3. Click “Add Alert”
4. Select a trading pair. For this scenario, we’ll tap “USDC” at the top of the screen. And then we’ll tap “BTC.” This means we want to set an alert for when BTC hits a certain price against USDC.
5. Put in whatever price you want to be alerted about. For this scenario, we’ll input $10,000. Delete what you see by default on the screen, then type in 10000.
6. Tap “create alert”
7. You’ll be taken to a screen where you can see all your alerts
Finally, If BTC hits $10,000, you’ll get an alert like this
