What is Synthetix?
Synthetix is a decentralised synthetic asset issuance and trading protocol built on Ethereum. Synthetix Network Token (SNX) is an ERC-20 token that is used as collateral for issuing newly-minted synthetic assets (Synths) while generating staking rewards for participants in the process. Synths are tokens that provide exposure to assets such as gold, Bitcoin, US Dollars, AAPL, and more. Their pooled collateral model enables users to convert between Synths with a smart contract. From April 2, 2020 at 21:00 UTC to April 9, 2020 at 20:59 UTC, our customers can show off their trading skills with SNX and win. All SNX traders who trade at least 1,500 SNX during the competition will win from a total prize pool of 60,000 SNX!
Once the competition starts, you’ll be able to track your rank on our Synthetix Trading Competition leaderboard. All customers’ ranks and SNX trading volume will be based on the sum of all buys and sells for all SNX pairs during the competition period.
