Poly Enterprise Now Accessible on BSN, Accelerating “New Infrastructure” in Blockchain Sector

On November 3, 2020, Poly Enterprise, a groundbreaking heterogeneous interoperability protocol, reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Blockchain-based Service Network (hereinafter “BSN”), whereby developers can use Poly Enterprise to enable data interoperability across all types of Dapps (decentralized applications), no matter what blockchain frameworks they are using. Poly Enterprise will work with BSN Development Association to help eliminate barriers of the blockchain technology, jointly promote and accelerate the industrial implementation and innovation of blockchain technology, as well as build a solid foundation for the development of smart cities and digital economy.

The BSN is a cross-cloud, cross-portal, and cross-framework global public infrastructure used to deploy and operate all types of Dapps regardless of their choices of cloud service providers or frameworks. The BSN was jointly initiated by four founding partners, namely the State Information Center of China, China Mobile, China UnionPay and Red Date Technology. The BSN has currently deployed over 130 public city nodes, covering all provinces and major cities in China as well as international nodes distributed across all continents apart from Antarctica.

Poly Enterprise, a heterogeneous interoperability protocol initiated by Onchain, is an enterprise-oriented version of the Poly Network which has been launched in August 2020. Poly Enterprise optimizes the scope of heterogeneous cross-chain transactions by enabling the transfer of not only assets, but also arbitrary information, and allow each heterogeneous consortium blockchain to work together seamlessly. Poly Enterprise has already supported Hyperledger Fabric and FISCO BCOS protocols through BSN — with plans to implement interoperability between more chains in order to build the next generation internet infrastructure.

Members of the BSN Development Association now include government agencies and corporations or institutions in telecommunications, financial and tech industries. The addition of Poly Enterprise into the BSN’s Interchain Communications Hub (ICH) will provide a better service to developers by reducing the costs of development, deployment, operation, maintenance, connectivity and supervision of Dapps. The BSN is expected to lower the economic and technical barriers for the implementation and application of blockchain technology for developers via Poly Enterprise.

Poly Enterprise enables all Dapps to make smart contract calls between blockchains through BSN’s ICH, thus generating more flexible and broader technical architecture and business logic. Blockchain has become a significant engine for the development of the digital economy. Currently, governments are using crude tools to deal with the global digital revolution.
