Poly Network AMA Recap With DeFi of Thrones
The gamified betting platform, DeFi of Thrones (@DefiOfThrones), was invited to Poly Network (@PolyNetwork2) AMA，taken place on 18th November in the Poly Network Telegram Community. From the Live AMA with Yair, DeFi of Thrones’CMO, this recap fully collects the topics discussed during the AMA.
GUEST INTRODUCTION
Moderator: Poly Network is a groundbreaking heterogeneous interoperability protocol alliance, which has already integrated Bitcoin, Ethereum, Neo, Ontology, Heco, BSC, OKExChain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Elrond, and Cosmos-SDK, and aims to build the foundation for Next-gen Internet (NGI) by enabling greater integration, cooperation, and innovation. Since the launch, the protocol has reached total trade volume of more than $14 billion USD involving more than 270K cross-chain addresses on different blockchains.
Yair: DeFi of Thrones is a gamified betting platform, that allows our users to bet on their favorite crypto-assets and get well rewarded for that. Each participating crypto-project will open up a house in its turn, and will try to gather as many players to his side. The winning house will take the funds on the losing side and will distribute them to his members according to their share in the house. Some of the tokens on the losing side will get permanently burned, which creates a deflationary mechanism.
Each participating crypto-asset (a house) will get a custom and rare NFTs, that will give his holders huge advantages in the game (Coming soon!). NFTs are available to collect using Mana points.
We’re planning to relaunch the full platform mainnet on the BSC soon, with more upcoming features, like Super-Staking, NFTs Mania, Lottery System and much more!

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS IN LIVE AMA
Q1: Could you share with our members the founding story and objectives of DeFi of Thrones?
Yair: The idea for DoTx came during spring 2020. The CTO and founder, Maxime, wanted to switch from Web2 to Web3 after a 10 years long career in smartphone/web applications development. Maxime had been interested for months in DeFi and gaming on blockchain. The idea for DeFi of Thrones came from the will to combine these two aspects of blockchain together.
Q2: As for the relaunch of DeFi of Thrones on BSC, what’s the significance for this movement?
Yair: Our main goal with this movement is to bring DeFi of Thrones to more users. Polygon is great, but we noticed many users don’t want to take the extra step and move from their comfort zone, which is often the Binance Smart Chain, to come to us. So we came to them.
Q3: Any exciting events related to DeFi of Thrones for our members to participate in?
Yair: When the transition to the Binance Smart Chain will be fully complete, we will organise a new tournament. This is a fun and exciting way to play with crypto. We”ll also add more new features to the platform. Like — Super Staking, Referrals Program, NFTs use-cases, Decentralized Lottery and more!
Q4: Why did DeFi of Thrones choose Poly Network among others for partnership?
Yair: I don’t remember how we first came to Poly Network, maybe from someone’s recommendation. But we have been using it on all our projects since. And we always came back to it, it’s a very easy and fast solution for developers. Bridging assets can quiet a burden and Poly Network fixes that.
Q5: Any roadmap for future plans？What shall users expect?
Yair: Yes, the team just got bigger and we have many projects for the future. In the following days/weeks, we will release a lottery and a referral system with rewards. We are also focusing on partnerships with other small projects. With DeFi of Thrones, we have a great tool to bring communities together using the wars and tournaments. We want to add features to our app that will strengthen these partnerships, we will give more info about that in the following weeks.

Q2: Can you explain how is your tokenomics distribution? How many tokens will be minted ? And how many tokens will be locked by the team?
Yair: The total supply for $DoTx tokens is 6,000,000, and the distribution is pretty easy to catch and is very logical to build a successful project.

Yair: I’d say 3–4–1–2.
Q5: Marketing is a central element for every project, so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieve the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and investor to your platform and keep them long term.
Yair: Marketing strategy is one of the biggest challenges for every project.
Our mainnet relaunch will come with a new tournament in place. This time, we cooperated with the participating projects, so they will promote about their participation in the tournament and will follow up the progress of their house in their social media platforms. We believe that this kind of attention can really add up, and will create hype and exposure that we expect.
Hosting more AMAs like this one, is something we’re already booking with other communities, so we will have more investors and players on board. We’ll balance it with some paid promotions in Twitter and Telegram, while announcing about new features that have been added to the DeFi of Thrones ecosystem. All these points are extremely crucial for our combined success. With the right approach, we can totally make it!
