Moderator: Poly Network is a groundbreaking heterogeneous interoperability protocol alliance, which has already integrated Bitcoin, Ethereum, Neo, Ontology, Heco, BSC, OKExChain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Elrond, and Cosmos-SDK, and aims to build the foundation for Next-gen Internet (NGI) by enabling greater integration, cooperation, and innovation. Andrew: SpaceY 2025 is the world’s first ‘play-to-earn’ blockchain-based triple-A tower defense game with NFTs. The 3D sandbox game offers an open and rich gameplay experience as well as numerous opportunities for players to earn money while playing. It is developed by the Blockfish team and its story is about building and defending a human settlement on Mars.Players can trade NFT-based Martian goods — such as land, buildings, towers and ores — with other players or sell them to them in the SpaceY 2025 marketplace. As the game progresses, they can not only help make humans a multi-planetary species, but also contribute to space exploration and unravel the mysteries of our universe.

Q1: Could you please tell us the founding story of SpaceY?
Andrew: In a universe parallel to our own, Elon Musk envisioned sending 1 million people to Mars by 2050 at a one-way fare of US$200,000. In 2023, the first commercial manned spacecraft is planned for launch, and Yusaku Maezawa is to be the first human sent to space by SpaceX. Elon Musk announced that the Big Falcon Spaceship (BFS) will send the first batch of 100 human volunteers to Mars in 2025, and it will take about 8 months for the manned spacecraft Dragon to reach Mars. We have dubbed it the Pioneer Project. Among the 100 pioneers that volunteered are experts and elites from various industries. After landing on Mars, the volunteers need to search for airdropped materials to build the first Mars base. At that moment, human kind has officially begun to become a planet-faring species. In this cold, desolate, airless, red rocky planet, your only goal is to survive…

Q2: Could you elaborate on the two tokens of SpaceY 2025: $Spay and $MetaMars?
Andrew: SPAY is a MetaSpace governance token. It allows majority holders to have DAO voting rights. It is used to purchase NFTs in SpaceY 2025.

MetaMars is a Token used in SpaceY 2025 for Frontline Attempts, NFT Tower Placement & Tower upgrades. Players are able to obtain MetaMars by defeating waves of aliens in tower mode.
Q3: Anything to highlight about the game? How shall our users get started?
Andrew: Leaderboards are now live with top players receiving SPAY after season 1 end Feb 28th: https://reward.spacey2025.com/
Right now all users will need to have a metamask account, we have a setup on our getting started page https://docs.spacey2025.com/ It has all the details if you are a new metamask user. Users must also set their network to BSC. All players must purchase a lootbox in order to play. Finally players will need to obtain MetaMars from pancake swap (50 to 100). These are for frontline attempts (30 each) and tower placement (ranging from 1–3 each)
Q4: Why did SpaceY choose Poly Network among others for partnership?
Andrew: PolyNetwork has an extensive amount of DAPPs used in cross network bridging and we knew that with current ETH fees, players wouldn’t want to use ETH network for NFTs. So we decided to run our game on BSC however we didn’t want to discourage potential players that had large amounts of ETH and our search led us to PolyNetwork
Q5: Any exciting plan for future developments？What shall users expect?
Andrew: DAO Governance system to be implemented at the end of January, Season 1 rewards distributed at the end of February. Tower skills and tower evolution to be released in March
