Meet up with PolySwarm at RSA

It’s that time of year again when 45,000 security professionals converge in San Francisco to attend one of the largest cybersecurity conferences in the world: RSA.

PolySwarm, a cybersecurity startup that raised $26 million in 2018 and recently launched the first decentralized threat detection marketplace, will be exhibiting at the RSA Early Stage Expo (booth #17), speaking (March 7, 1:00 p.m. — 1:20 p.m.), and taking meetings with both security experts and enterprises.

PolySwarm is a marketplace where security experts and antivirus (AV) companies compete to correctly detect malware, while enterprises and MSSPs benefit from the combined wisdom of security experts around the world.

Described by Security Week as ‘VirusTotal on steroids,’ PolySwarm continues to rapidly grow its list of major anti-malware vendors and security experts powering its network.

PolySwarm is unique in that it uses economic incentives for “suppliers” — security experts and AV companies contributing their scanning engines to the platform — to increase quality and effectiveness of threat identification. Engines (dubbed ‘microengines’) in PolySwarm are rewarded for accurate determinations in their fields of expertise, and enterprises benefit from the broader, more accurate and up-to-date threat detection.

The team recently released the 1.0 version of its solution and is now inviting enterprises and MSSPs to participate in a free 30-day trial.
