Today Tokyo-based Fuva Brain Limited joins PolySwarm’s threat detection marketplace as an ‘Ambassador.’ Fuva Brain, a managed security service provider (MSSP), will start consuming PolySwarm’s threat intelligence feeds enabling better protection for its customers while also obtaining an R&D advantage.

The Ambassador role, typically a security company providing managed security services to its clients, provides a link between PolySwarm and their own end users. (More about how the Ambassador role works in the PolySwarm marketplace here.)

Fuva Brain will start submitting suspicious files to the PolySwarm network, where a decentralized global workforce of security experts and antivirus companies will compete, through their authored software, to accurately detect malware. Fuva Brain and its customers will expand their protection against new threats by accessing a pool of specialized security expertise economically incentivized to make accurate predictions.

Fuva Brain provides computer software related services including computer security consulting, computer software development and wholesale services, user support services and software outsourcing services.

“Here at Fuva Brain it’s our mission to not only support customers with traditional technology and services, but also find and adopt new technologies to support their success,” says Fuva Brain President Hideyuki Koshimizu. “By tapping into PolySwarm, Fuva Brain accesses a wealth of security expertise that allows us to expand our clients’ protection against emerging threats, lower the volume of false positives and get the R&D edge to continuously improve our solutions.”

“Fuva Brain becomes an important part of the PolySwarm ecosystem, and is our first MSSP user in Japan,” says Steve Bassi, CEO of PolySwarm. “They bring a track record of success advising clients on IT services and products while helping improve their clients’ security posture. We are pleased to have Fuva Brain and their team on board.”
