Ten of Wands

There is not, to me, a sense of strenuousness in the young man’s going home with his bounty of wands. But there is a feeling of steady, determined plodding with all he has worked for through all the preceding cards.

He is from common stock, works hard and is proud of his accomplishments. We would do well to note that his sinewy legs and hips are foundational. He is of the earth, like the wands he carries.

Significant in this card is that he is crossing the road, not going up or down it. It is not a castle on the other side. Nor is it a ramshackle hut. It is a solid and sturdy home. Trees abound. There are plowed fields. Everything points to completion.

In natural numerology, ten is the number of Result/Active. Since this is the final card before we go into the Court Cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King), we don’t continue with the numbering but end it with the Third-Level Result (Completion). You should have a feeling of finality with the “Ten” cards.

In the interest of adjustment. The true color of the sky should be robin-egg blue, not the blue-gray on the internet card.
