Tarot: Lesson 3
My Love Affair with the Tarots
T for Two
The reader will discover a subtle adjustment I’m making in this post, compared to the rendering of the Aces — an adjustment that I shall carry forward to my description of the remaining cards.
My reasoning is this:
Despite how many times I repeat Clarence’s words that “Anything means anything,” and the 5th piece of advice which reads, “My interpretation of a card will bear witness to my total knowledge and understanding relative to that card and only at that one moment in time. My interpretation of a card will be — and must be — different from yours,” it is mighty difficult to unread an interpretation you’ve just completed.
So, as I continue today with the twos and later with the remaining cards, I shall leave you more of a description of the card, along with some basic hints as to a direction, and allow the interpretation to be yours.
You’ll remember I used the word “housekeeping” in the last post. I was referring to the elements that take me away from the card I am describing. It may not have a direct bearing on that specific card, but I feel it is an important piece of knowledge. Or as in the bit of “housekeeping” I’ll be indulging in today, it has a bearing on ALL the cards and I don’t want to repeat it…
