Welcome seekers and travelers. I’m excited about the Eights. Visine your spiritual eyes. We’ve a lot to see.

The Eight of Wands

Under a cloudless blue sky, in a rural setting, eight wands, sporting new growth at their ends and on the sides of their staffs, point their tips downward.

Clearly, no one is holding these wands. They appear to be coming from on high.

A deceptively simple card, this. There is no human to divert (or dilute?) the purity of the symbol. What do you make of it? What would be our human response to wands suddenly appearing overhead, obviously coming from somewhere? Our eyes would be darting about the landscape for the eight people who had simultaneously hurled them into the air. Seeing no one, our eyes shift, raise to the sky itself. That appears to be the origin of the wands. The only explanation. That explains the origin, but what does it mean? Our earthbound minds don’t deal well with non-logical explanations.
