Today we have graduated from the “commoners” or villagers, whichever you prefer. (I’m using medieval social stratification and not making judgments.) There are four court cards in each suit: Page, Knight, Queen, and King. The suits are, of course, Wands, Swords, Pentacles, and Cups.

I figured we could more easily understand the relationship between each of the four court members if we kept the suits the same. Instead, I could easily have explored all four suits with the Page for the first week, then proceed to the Knight for the second week. But that seems less helpful.

To remind you, in the Natural Numerology system, the Page is number one in the Court cards, and that is Active. The Knight is number two, Passive. The Queen is number three, Equilibrium. The King is number four, Result/Active. [I hope you’ve kept and hopefully copied or printed out on an index card the Natural Numerology System for your future use.]

One other housekeeping note: The court cards cannot be understood without considering their historical context. I try to weave that historical significance within the cards’ interpretations.
