The Threes — In Spiritual Suspension
I hope you have lived with the Twos in all their passivity and are ready to enjoy the equilibrium of growth the threes provide.
It’s a time for patience.
Growth comes in its own time. It can’t be rushed without the consequence of distortion.
So let us begin.
The Three of Wands
Here, the young man stands on the hillside, overlooking the golden sea. [I wish the coloring was as good in this representation as with the actual coloration on the card.] The sea and the sky are of the same golden hue.
Color plays an important role in this card [all cards, really]. You’ve considered the red of his robe. Now, look at the green [yes, it is green] of the shawl draped over one shoulder. It should be the same verdant green as the strips of green vegetation at his feet. Do the red and green “fight” each other (and I don’t mean in a fashion sense) or do they complement each other?
There are ships on the calm sea and he is looking upon them. What do the ships signify?
